
Join us for a hike along the Woodchute Trail within the Woodchute Wilderness Area in Prescott National Forest. The trail is 7 miles roundtrip, through pinion and ponderosa pine forest. Expect great views of distant mountains, and valleys all around central arizona, including the San Francisco Peaks and the red rock country around Sedona. The elevation at the trailhead is just under 7000' and tops-out at approximately 7,700'. Bring 3 liters of water, sun block, a hat, hiking boots, lunch, and gas money if you're not a driver.
