Let's get out of the heat and head up to Prescott where we will hike through a pine forest up Spruce Mountain, in the Bradshaw Mountains. There are some great views along the trail. This loop is approximately 8.5 miles, with 1,350' elevation gain. The trail begins at 6,400' and tops out at 7,750'. Afterwards, plan on going to grab a bite to eat around Prescott's famous Whiskey Row. Bring a lunch, sunblock, plenty of water, hiking boots, light jacket, and gas money for your driver, if it's not you.
