Have you ever seen the desert covered in a carpet of wildflowers ranging in color from white, yellow, orange, red, and purple, with lush grass? We've had quite of bit of rain this winter and spring, which should really bring out those flowers. The rugged canyons, pinnacles, and view of Weavers Needle only add to the scenery. You'll need plenty of water, hiking boots, lunch, gas money if you are not a driver, a hat, and sun block. Join us on this moderately difficult, 9.1 mile loop-hike through the Superstition Mountains.
