Are you tired of the triple digit heat? Do you like to swim? If so, join us for a day at this remote creek in the Hellsgate Wilderness, south of Payson. This adventure offers great swimming holes, scenic rock formations, and classic riparian desert scenery. It is approximately 4 miles round-trip, and involves swimming, wading, and bouldering. Although the hike is a short distance, it is still a day hike, due to the slow speed of this type of travel. Don't miss this one! Plan on going to Payson for dinner afterwards.
